Changes

What a wonderful time it has been. We are approaching the second anniversary of the Marina's opening and have 400 boats in situ and, more importantly, a great community developing of boaters that help not only each other but also the marina and the village itself.

The new Midland Chandlers at the marina is proving a great success being very popular with boaters in the marina as well as those in the surrounding area. It is a great store and more stock is being added all the time.

New and Used Boat Co. are going great guns and crying out for more boats to sell as the ones they have sell so fast.

Shakespeare Classic Line are so pleased with the marina that they are thinking of expanding their activities here.

Aqua Narrow Boats hire and workshop has more build in the pipeline and are reporting a good hiring season.

Trade n Post is offering fresh fruit and veg in addition to the normal staples.

Willow Tree Tea Rooms is very busy and soon is going to start offering evening meals again.

Last weekend's festival/Open days was a great success and hugely enjoyed by the thousands of people who visited. The comments on the new holiday lodge were so good that it was sold on the first day it was available and now we are planning two more show homes in different styles to display what is available.

The gastro pub with rooms and leisure spa with pool is currently awaiting the planners ok and we are busy talking to prospective tenants.

Busy and exciting times for all!
